This learning module discusses business conduct.
In today’s business environment, there are standard practices that every business, regardless of size, should strive to adhere to, in order to be profitable and successful. This is called business conduct.

Business conduct is about the way a business behaves and the way it  deals with employees, customers, and other stakeholders. But it’s also more than values and ethical principles; it’s also about ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, like workplace safety and data protection, which all help build trust and credibility with stakeholders

In today’s world, companies can’t afford not to be trusted. Engaging in business conduct that is socially responsible, ethical and legal is essential for building credibility with stakeholders and in protecting a company from potential legal or reputational risks.
